Ladies Night! All female readers for this event and what a wonderful line up it is: J.M. Phillippe, Kate Jackson, Laurie Rockenbeck, Lisa Lieberman, and Roz Ray! (and me.)

I'll be reading from Storm Waters, but not the same sections I've read in the past. Due to commute silliness, I'll be first or second on the program, so please come early to get a good seat and cheer us on! (The rest of them are great, but I need all the help I can get)

Black, white, and red graphic for Noir at the Bar Seattle, Ladies Night shows a mirror ball swining through a splash of blood at the end of the diagonal black banner that reads "Noir at the Bar" Below that is "Ladies Night" in sketchy-looking red letters. A block of black text gives the details: October 24, 2024, Alibi Room (Seattle), 8PM; Hosted by Scottie Andrews and Bethany Maines"

Start date: October 18, 2024
End date: October 21, 2024

More books! Same authors! More Weird Tales! More Silliness! (and probably more coffee.) Local author Cherie Priest discusses her deliciously moody summer beach read with author Kat Richardson. The Drowning House is an unexpected supernatural thriller about a violent storm that washes a mysterious house onto Marrowstone Island stopping the heart of the only woman who knows what it means. There will be Q&A and book signing after the chat. Please consider buying the book here, to support the store and future author events.
